Day 474 - January 21st, 2742

Well, things continue to escalate here, but this time on the political level. The Mayor was summoned by LTC McGrath to appear before a STEEL council at their HQ at the Sharktooth and answer questions about the recent attacks, and a rise in violence and 'rebellious' behaviors so close to her city.

Of course they suspect she is involved given she openly revolted before, but seeing as they are conducting questioning over an arrest, it seems they aren't yet convinced. Still, she isn't worried about this. Not her first time, and these things all go the same. Meet with McGrath, get chewed out for one thing or another, repeat again from the council, get grilled on some questions and the state of things. Make some broad, but shallow promises to appease them, and follow them as minimally as possible to meet the terms and nothing more.

She also let me know that she has some tricks of her own. A few jailbroken STEEL signal trackers, cameras and microphones embedded in her glasses and necklace, and honestly, balls of fucking tungsten because steel has nothing on that. Walking into the lion's den.

Well, looks like she has this all figured out. Lily is going to help with this operation too. She and some former STEEL netrunners will be keeping an eye on any data, audio, video, whatever it may be and see what she can piece together with Pathfinder. They've done this before, but each time they hope for some new slice of information.

Something they are not supposed to hear or see. And given how emotionally charged they anticipate McGrath to be after such a couple of incidents under his nose, they will be waiting on any emotionally-charged slip-ups.

As for me, I'll help where I can, but I'm not the most tech savvy. Lily is much more suited for this than me. Still, the Mayor said anytime these kinds of operations occur, there is always a risk of signals getting traced by STEEL. So I'll need to keep one eye open around the place when she arrives.
