So while I haven't posted anything in a while I've ended up revisting that crystal concept and wanted to make a hive mind character. Ended up coming with these folks as two out of six primary designs. Left one is an operator, meant to fit into small spaces, personally nicknamed them "cotton ball".
The other is a bio-engineer, meant to fit all sorts of materials into that belly and also capable of medically assisting other clones. Their use is not just medical, as they can build organic structures the hive uses to live in.

Yes, they still produce a dog that by default has a sedative effect, but can have a variety (fetish or not) of effects.
