A commission for the very lovely
Extormus; a constellation-style piece of themselves and a very important galaxy to them. Getting to combine two of my loves - drawing huge dragons and drawing spacey themes - was honestly SO much fun.
I even learnt a whole new technique for drawing galaxies from this commission, and I'm so pleased about it :3 It's a very different style and method from the rest of my art, as was the drawing of Extormus themselves...
I really, really need to do more things like this. I always adore it when I do!

This is so lovely! To me, dragons are one of the most elegant and majestic things out there. Strong and powerful, but far from just mindless beasts much of the time. Often even wiser (even kinder) than a human would be.
And the bright shining stars of outer space aren't too far behind them. It's always so captivating; something I could stare at for ages. Even in something like the end of a solar system, it's as beautiful as it is bittersweet.
So of course, I do always love seeing those two sights brought together. And I would say you've conveyed that combined beauty perfectly.

Oh, absolutely! I'm in full agreement (in everything except the kinder... and even those dragons that sit atop their thrones and lord over those below them, one cannot deny, there is majesty and royalty that permits them that pleasure) <3
