Seemingly forever drowning in debt and loans, Otto was not a man who was in the best of situations in life, and often found himself relying on unsavory methods to make ends meet and survive.

One night while sneaking into and looting a house, Otto came across the figurine of a cartoon character named Blue Bonnet. Blue Bonnet was considered a sort of 'sister series' to Honeybelle Brewins. However, while Honeybelle continued to be very popular, Blue Bonnet would lag behind. While Blue tended to sport a blue ribbon, there was a rare production error at one point that made some with a yellow ribbon.

Otto, a fan of the cartoon when he was a child, recognized this, and decided to take the figure with him. However, as he tried to sneak around, he would step onto a rubber ball... which contained a dormant Toon Core that proceeded to activate!

The next thing Otto knew was that 'she' was now a cute rubber ball toon with the appearance of Blue Bonnet!
