Had the idea to make this, it's a bit of a revamp of an old rubber balloon bounce house shaped like a flower. Only this one moves along the ground with legs and shoots bubbles from its stem. What do those bubbles do exactly?...I didn't really think much about that, I just liked the image in my head. Why don't you comment with what you think it should do?
Lord Hayati has written a most wonderful description for me, thank you so much <3
When exploring inflatable, balloonie, or bubbly forest biomes, Bubble bounce plants are to be watched out for. While harmless in the long run, the amount of time you're contained for before release can easily hamper any and all plans you have for that day, or days.
Its vines are made of a slick rubberized vinyl, making it hard to get a grip on as it waddles with its stump-like roots. the Flower "hands" it has are the main way it captures people, with the giant flower in front being an entryway for storage and transformation.
It dines on the forms of people, transforming them into balloonie or inflatable creatures inside its bounce house stomach, often fitting the biome its residing in. This transformation allows it to extract the potential energy of their prior shame, satisfying its hunger.
To capture someone, the Bubble bounce plant will often shoot out a rubber-like bubble at a person, or attempt to pick them off the ground directly. From there, the bubble is pushed through the bubble floret membrane, leading to the bounce house. In here, people contained in the bubbles will gradually begin to transform as they're bounced about by the movements of the Bubble bounce plant, thanks to its stumbling movement. Communication between bubbles is near impossible, thanks to the fact they're being squeezed from every angle, the loud squeaking vinyl of the inside, and the bounces making talking to anyone rather hard.
Once a person is fully transformed, and no more energy can be extracted, the transformed person's bubble will phase through the translucent front of the plant, and be knocked aside. The scale of time is usually 24 to 48 hours after capture. The bubble membrane shortly pops after ejection.
The threat level of the plant is minimal, as it does not do lasting harm, although mental attributes of the shape it transforms people into might have an after effect. Those who have time sensitive plans might want to avoid these forests, otherwise they might be spending a weekend inside a plant, and then the next week at a reversion clinic.
