Losing Maria nearly broke Atropos, it’s no wonder that 721’s willingness to sacrifice themselves for the greater good wouldn’t sit well with Atropos either, especially since the little self-aware roomba resembles the late captain. In hindsight Atropos should have realized that modeling 721 so much after Maria was asking for heartbreak in the long run.
