Document Anomaly, mascot “Shadow of Miss Scarlet”
Report by Dr. Jessie Montgomery, Researcher Code No. 772452, date [DATA EXPUNGED]/2002. I must report an anomaly to the attention of the Red Eye corporation that could cause serious problems in the future.
On [DATA REMOVED], concurrently with [REDACTED], an anomalous event occurred in the behavior of the mascots and the Black Ambrosia. The entire event revolves around the various instances of the mascot Miss Scarlet, the singing butterfly connected to the Enchantia series.
It was observed that, during the period of the anomalous event, the various instances of the Miss Scarlet mascots began to “sweat” and become covered in Black Ambrosia, completely changing coloration while displaying luminous red details, including the logo of our corporation appearing on their wings. In addition to this, the various Miss Scarlet instances exhibited behavior different from the “canonical” programming assigned to the character. The various instances of Miss Scarlet display an attitude more closely associated with that of a “cult leader”; they proved to be extremely manipulative toward visitors and staff, also demonstrating a sort of “hypnotic power” used to lure human prey. The various Miss Scarlet instances reportedly attracted multiple human individuals into areas hidden from the public, subsequently infecting the victims with Black Ambrosia and merging or assimilating them into living attraction specimens. In some cases, the Miss Scarlet instances reportedly instead “terminated” certain adult visitors through a rapid and instantaneous “neck snapping,” then proceeded to consume the bodies in the manner of a wild predatory animal.
During this period, the various Miss Scarlet instances insist on referring to themselves as “Shvr-rath” and display a hive-mind-like attitude. Interrogations were conducted on the aforementioned instances during the period [REDACTED]; the first instance interrogated reported:
“I am Shvr-rath, and I am your primary investor. I am what you call Black Ambrosia, the payment that allowed your corporation and your universe to progress technologically. Your creations obey you by my will; a single command from me would be enough for every one of your creations to turn against you. In return, you repay me by converting living beings into my new faithful children, and you are slowly and willingly handing over your entire planet to me. But lately, the sacrifices made in my name have been decreasing, so I have decided to personally collect my share of the profits. Thank you for creating these avatars in my image, perfect for me.”
After the first interrogation, additional Miss Scarlet instances were examined; all of them insist that they have already been interrogated and have already provided answers. This would confirm the theory previously proposed and “dismissed” by the corporation regarding a hive mind among the mascots. In this specific case, however, the altered Miss Scarlet instances would possess a true, shared singular consciousness.
During this period, other mascot specimens also behaved anomalously. Within the various theme parks and attractions of the corporation, the mascots appear to organize, outside of official schedules, unsanctioned events involving visitors; these are often special, free “meet and greet” sessions in the backstage areas with mascots of famous characters, giving particular attention to the altered Miss Scarlet instances. Obviously, these meetings are traps designed to infect the aforementioned visitors with Black Ambrosia. The mascots themselves appear to interact in a manner that can be described as “reverentially religious” toward the altered Miss Scarlet instances.
At the same time, the living attractions and Black Ambrosia itself appeared to be more agitated than usual, and even aggressive. Tentacles and hands emerging from the Black Ambrosia were confirmed, with the intent of grabbing and pulling nearby staff members and visitors into the substance. This would also support the theory, repeatedly denied by the corporation, that Black Ambrosia is alive and sentient.
NOTE: During this period, staff are advised against interfering with the anomalous activity of the mascots. If disturbed during their “hunt,” the mascots will not hesitate to infect staff members who intervene.
The anomalous event lasted [REDACTED] days, after which the entire situation appeared to have returned to normal. The Black Ambrosia seemed to have returned to its typical passive state, and the same applies to the living attractions, which were observed to be in a peaceful state. The same applies to the mascots: they appeared to behave normally according to the programs assigned to them by the corporation, without any unauthorized unscheduled events. The various Miss Scarlet instances also appeared to have returned to normal, both physically and behaviorally. Once interrogated, the mascots seemed (apparently) confused and unaware of the events and their actions during the anomalous event.
The research division agrees that “this was a temporary phenomenon of little significance; no similar events are expected in the future.” The event has been archived as “not significant.” End of report.
Update: One year has passed since the first event [DATA REMOVED]; on the same date as the original event, [DATA REMOVED], the event occurred again, exactly as before. The same events and dynamics from the first event took place, with the same duration, and in the end, everything returned to normal. Further investigations are required.
Update_2: After another year of waiting, the event occurred again. I believe this is a recurring phenomenon; it could cause long-term damage in the future. I request the corporation’s intervention before it is too late.

Announcement from the administrators to all staff of Red Eye Corporation. On [DATA DAMAGED], researcher n°772452 was accused of sabotage. Researcher n°772452 allegedly misused corporate resources to conduct personal research with unfounded and superfluous results. Furthermore, the doctor made false statements, unsupported by evidence, regarding the dangerous nature of our products and Black Ambrosia.
If some of you have heard about a certain anomalous event called [REDACTED], know that everything is normal. There is no anomalous event: it is all planned and is a marketing event. The new Black Miss Scarlet is actually a new character, the twin sister of Miss Scarlet. Her reveal was supposed to be a surprise, but the sabotaging doctor ruined everything.
The saboteur has been arrested on charges of sabotage, misinformation, and defamation; her family has also been arrested as potential collaborators. The saboteur and her family have already undergone transformation into mascots and have been deployed in the parks. All compromising documentation has been seized as evidence of the crimes committed.
Let this event serve as a lesson to anyone attempting to sabotage the corporation. Research must focus on the development of new IPs and technologies for the market, and should not be wasted on useless conspiracy theories regarding alleged risks associated with our operations and products. Living attractions and mascots are completely safe: there is nothing wrong, everything is functioning properly. Dissenting opinions and research that waste corporate resources will be considered acts of sabotage and severely punished.

This small update is just to let you know that I’m still alive and felt like posting something. I’m working on the projects I’ve already mentioned; I haven’t changed my mind and I’m doing a little something new, but very slowly, mainly because I’m naturally slow. Sometimes I’m mentally tired and, as a result, not creatively stimulated. I often play other games; during the holidays, I got the urge to return to Two Point Museum and bought the recent Zooseum DLC, etc., and I’m also lazy by nature. In other words, I’m a workaholic and lazy at the same time. While working on the new projects, I created Miss.Scarlet Oscura by chance because I wanted to make something for the various Fictional Brands and the mascots already present and canonical in the game, and to place them in the lore of Red Eye Corporation. Miss.Scarlet Oscura is my first attempt at creating the original mascot of Red Eye Industries, from its foundation years before it became a Corporation, and to explore the lore of the corporation’s evolutionary history through its historical mascots. Even here, there’s a lot of work to do, and I’m slow.
I’m writing this stuff while watching the new video by AZFK, and for the first time, I discover the existence of “Codex Inversus,” and I realize it after having dinner. My brain is amazed by this, in contrast with my stomach.
