POKÉMON SUMO LEAGUE MONTHLY PROFILES: Oceanum Fluctus
You all voted for it, so here we are! The second in command of our world’s Pokémon Sumo League branch leader himself, the massive Dewott himself!
Weighing in at about 700 pounds and 8’5’’, Fluctus is big for a Dewott despite his relative age of 34, but his loyalty to his idol and the League’s founder, Nisshoku Moon (real name Umbra Shinto) remains firm. It was Moon himself who discovered Fluctus (real name Lacus Aequor) while starting up the League’s Branch on Earth. Initially worried about his inability to measure up to his mentor, Fluctus took encouragement from the great Umbreon and from a surprise visit by Moon’s own mentors, the Main League’s Founders and twin aged Lucario Masters Kor and Mail, to accept the position of #2 under Moon.
The Dewott is hard working, eager to please his mentor, while also being rather fun loving and eager to show his strength. He also is an avid gamer, playing through several RPGs and can be seen crushing the arcades when not working hard. Who knows? Maybe you’ll see him someday and he can get you in the league himself!
