Did you know that hacking a copy of Final Fantasy 6 to insert your friends into it as playable characters reveals a scrapped mechanic for the ‘Cherry’ and ‘Misty’ enemies? Apparently, they were supposed to have an ability where after Charming female party members, they’d create Smoke clouds which caused those Charmed women to become smoke-spewing elegantly-gowned ladies just like them. The mechanic got scrapped in development, but with a little hacking you can bring it back, and the results are quite fetching~…

I played that game all the way through for the first time recently and was just floored this "Barb-e" character I'd seen so much fan-art of was just a random recurring enemy encounter in two optional areas (one of which being a dream sequence) rather than an arc villain in her own right.
