Recently I have been inspired by the absolutely amazing art of  Azure_Lionheart who I certainly recommend you guys go check out! Because of them I felt inspired to revamp my character Repressor a bit and also to also design him in a sonic oc style because he was initially inspired by the concept of surge the tenerac and kitsunami from the sonic IDW series x3

Strong point: advanced knowledge of cybernetics and understanding of the brain
Weak point: his face, it’s so full of technology it can’t naturally repair injuries
Likes: freedom, being spoiled/dotted on, homemade meals, romance, classical movies, motherly figures
Dislikes: rude people, lack of control, antidote, viper, abusers

Backstory:
Repressor was abandoned by his birth parents at a young age do to the two of them feeling they were not ready for a child. He grew up as a ward of the state spending most of his time binge watching old classic vhs films about the 1930s-1950s his favourite of which were romance movies where he often envisioned the staring couple as his parents. Later on he was fostered in a household so that his newly adopted and rather abusive and disgusting parents could take his government funded stipends. He would spend the next few years of his life distracting himself from the real world with his movies and by studying the phycology of the mind to better find ways manipulate and calm his foster family. When he was finally able to move out of his foster home he decided to join the actively recruiting antidote organization. He would devote 6 years of his life to the organization slowly working his way up the ranks from a grunt agent to chief of staff, his understanding of phycology made him a highly valuable asset to the organization as he was able to undo the hypnosis inflicted on other agents by the enemy operative Viper. Unfortunately when venom disbanded and Viper was assumed dead he was no longer needed and without much concern for his well being fired from the organization. Enraged by this abuse and abandonment he would steal venom technology regarding hypnotism that had been been confiscated by antidote and yet to be destroyed. After almost a year of modifying his body with the stolen and now modified technology he would begin to reprogram the minds of people and begin attempting to build his dreamland.

Personality:
His initial personality while working with antidote was rather quiet and often unremarkable as he liked to keep to himself and struggled to be social. However after his transformation into Repressor he became much more confident and outgoing embodying the swav charismatic natures that his favourite actors portrayed in their movies. However while he might be much more confident and polite he has an underlying manipulative nature that people often don’t see until it’s too late.

Abilities and tech:
- Mechanical eyes: prevents him from being hypnotized visually and allows him to hypnotize people up close
- frequency modifier: allows him to tune his hearing and prevents him from being auditory hypnotized
- nasal inhibitor: prevents hypnotism do to gases and toxins
- taste disabler: prevents hypnotism via food or poisons
- jaw restraint: do to all the modifications in his head his face can’t naturally heal and after an incident with a former client, his jaw was broken. He requires this to help his jaw.
