Its hard to imagine what Beryl would like if he's dead serious because of his outgoing and fun persona, but whenever he gets serious, he becomes a bit terrifying and intimidating like a real dragon.
Beryl seems to take his role as a navy captain slightly more serious than others even though he receives it as an honorary position with no real combat requirements. He had to factor discipline and seriousness in the military, though not always. In fact, moments such as these are quite rare as told by his crew. What could get him this serious, perhaps?
