Well video of the armor besides the chest as I was still working on finishing it when doing the fit test;

But heres a fit test of all of it sans the chest and shoulders. See the previous submission for the issues I had with the chest at the end. Will be trying to fix it eventually but taking a break from the mad scramble I had to try and finish all this in time. But hope you like it! Will have some more pictures after this and in scraps of the armor in a more cinematic angle and in motion.
I as the person who made it see a lot of issues with it that as I said I will try to fix. Mainly attaching the front and back top the chest to the strap that is horizontal to the shoulder straps to keep it more upright and connected, making the shoulders more secure so they don't slide around, and making the shoulder straps shorter to pull the armor up higher. To allow it to cover more of my upper chest/shoulder area and make it not rest on my belt and make it harder to bend/twist. But hey! For my very first try trying to make armor I'm still super pleased with how it all worked! With two days of full combat use and it is still all together \o/
The longsword pictured is not mine but was loaned to me for the pictures. When the current crafting project finishes I will likely try to make one too I really like it.
Some fun math for peeps;
bought;
900 plates
300 feet of red paracord
200ish feet of green paracord (I think I had some from archery stuff)
Used;
877 plates
270 feet of red
120ish of green
Took me I'd wager about 35-40 hours to complete? If I were to do it again I'm sure I could do it faster but that's what practice gets you.
