The title comes from the beautiful song Deuteronomy 2:10 by The Mountain Goats a song that speaks from the pov of 3 extinct animal species, the Thylacine, Dodo Bird, and Golden Toad, respectively.

Extinct animals have been one of my special interests since I was about 9-10 years old mainly the ones humans drove to extinction. It's truly a shame to see how many beautiful creatures we've lost and will continue to lose due to humans being assholes.
