I think I have never worked longer on a single picture than I did on this one.
What we've got here is  Chancethedragon's character Amber, with her feet grown past the limits of the universe, out into vast multiversal meta-space. As you can tell, Chance likes things big. really big. really really really frickin' big.

The "parallel universe orbs" in the first panel were done by taking renders of a sphere with different zbrush materials and superimposing them with various photoshop blending modes and layer effects.

The house was done in maya, and post-rendering, heavily altered in photoshop with layers of color and a few subtle uses of filter effects.
