The next two hours remained relatively quiet in the office. Despite suddenly turning into a bigger version of himself, he still felt an invisible pressure coming from the office that he should return to his workplace and continue refining all the macrodata. One quick glance at his attire explained his inactivity - his additional bulk was simply a few sizes too huge for his old uniform.
At 6’6”, his shirt and pants still clung onto his body tightly. Unfortunate, but better than nothing, October thought to himself.
As time passed, his clothes became ever so slightly smaller and smaller. The whole world shrank the tiniest bit, in fact. It was so slow and gradual, neither the growing feline nor his companion Mark noticed right away.
The top of October's head crept upwards ever so slightly. An hour ago he would’ve fit under the office doorways clearance just perfectly, now he would hit his forehead into the doorframe.
Small tears in his clothing turned into larger ones, his toes continued advancing out of the front of his sneakers. You can only cram so much of size 16 paws into size 9 shoes.
6’7” turned into 6’8” and that turned into 6’8.5”.
Eventually, simply moving any part of his enlarged body destroyed what remained of his worn shreds. So, when Mark found a jacket made for someone of October's new and enhanced stature, the feline made quick work of tearing off whatever still clung onto him. It was easier than expected. While his musculature did grow slightly larger in proportion to his body, his strength increased mostly due to his overall increased size. That being said, he did grin in satisfaction when he saw some definition appear in his biceps and abdominals. His pectorals emerged faintly from the former flat chest, his hamstrings filled with additional strength. This was not the scrawny last-of-the-litter tiger he used to know. He was someone more than that now.
He could’ve found even more enjoyment out of this uncertain situation if it wasn’t for the fact that he would have to get home to his boyfriend somehow, without pants or even shoes. His underwear still fit him well, luckily. It was only the front of the pouch that felt tighter than usual…
God, his partner's face will be amazing when October gets home tonight! The tiger pulled out his phone, opening the blue deer's contact. He’s got to get a small glimpse of what’s waiting for him!
A single photo should suffice. Something that shows his enhanced proportions.
The tall tiger ventured towards the door, ducked under it and snapped a selfie. He added the caption “Bringing home extra boyfriend tonight” and hit the button reading “send to Robbin”.
Done. Now, how the hell was he getting out of here without causing a scene?
