Tried seeing what would happen if i CGed the pencilwork directly. Maybe it would work better with darker linework...

It seems to work pretty well with the fur, but gives kinda an odd effect on the clothing for some reason. Like it has an internal glow.

I think you're right. The pencil overlay greyed out the colors, so I must've overcompinsated. I did want some bright color in this, but the way it is now seems to flatten the whole image. Thanks Seritaph!
