He is loosely based on fantasy-inspired realms that are also loosely based on viking and norse-based history.
Not actually viking/norse, but based on the fantasy IDEA of such things. (I made him when I initially was playing through AC: Valhalla, so like. there's the idea for him.)

Design details:
- Has oversized, large wings. Can fly and glide long distances without break, though he isn't the fastest flier out there.
- Has a physique that is up to the artist- can be more built, athletic and lean, more muscular, have some pudge, etc. It's not set in stone. (prefer to draw him with some pudge and some muscle, tho. Not defined, but a small muscle gut is nice)
- Has an abundance of fluff, primarily found along his neck and chest, joints, and rump.
- Ears are on the thinner side, more pointed at the top (more like a horse, less like a pony).
- Both ears have a golden cuff and hoop piercing, symmetrical to one another.
- Angled, sharp eyes and sharp, long eyelashes.
- Both eyebrows have slits in them due to facial scarring- they are not symmetrical!
- Left side of face has three scars- one starting in his beard/on his chin that slides over his mouth, one that starts above the corner of his mouth and travels over his eye and through his eyebrow, and one under the eye. They are all from the same instance. They do not impede his sight at all.
- Right eyebrow is slit with a scar that starts just above his eye.
- Has a neck scar that is larger on the right side of neck, wraps around the back, and ends in a thin point at the nape of his neck.
- Has three scars on his left shoulder that are similar in shape to the facial scars, just shorter and more compact.
- Two scars on right hip.
- Upper left arm has two golden cuffs- one is a complete, sealed "braided" bangle that rests beneath and open-ended "twisted" bangle whose ends are shaped like bird heads.
- Fluffy, feathery mohawk that stands on its own- not styled. It's a mixture of hair and feathers so the base is more rigid than the tips. Hair is shaved down on the sides- not bald, but very short.
- Beard is patchier along the jaw with a fluffier chin and around the corners of his mouth. No mustache- hair or stubble.
- Sclera are a light yellow whereas his irises are deep pink-red. (due to bat pony heritage)
- Can be drawn with or without a cutiemark. (I usually forgo cutiemarks since I think they're sorta unnecessary, but it's supplied if you draw him in a more MLP-related piece/style.)
- In MLP/quad form, he is about the height of Sombra- a little taller, but not as large or tall as Big Mac.
- Does not have fangs, but his teeth are generally sharper than the average pony thanks to his bat pony heritage.

Other info:
- Is generally soft-spoken, doesn't talk a lot.
- Tends to trill and click like a bat pony on occasion since his family (and he) is half-bat. It's just another language to him.
- Chest/neck fluff puffs up and gets messy when flustered, much like how you'd see a Ghibli character do.
- His gaze is pretty intense and, coupled with his darker colour scheme and height, he can come off as a bit intimidating to others.
- Has a kind heart, but takes no shit. He's very blunt when he does speak and can come off as a bit of an asshole.
