Frieren × ODST - personal concept
This piece started as a random idea that got stuck in my head.
I wanted to see how Frieren would look if translated into a completely different visual language —
grounded sci-fi armor instead of fantasy robes.
The work turned out heavier than expected.
I deliberately pushed myself into a different style and focused on very detailed, meticulous rendering,
treating it more like a study than a finished illustration.
This artwork took around 70 hours to complete.
It was exhausting, but also refreshing - a way to break routine and try something outside my usual comfort zone.
No deeper meaning, no canon - just a concept I wanted to see finished.
