Sophie: Do you think they’re going to attack us again on the way, or are they already sitting somewhere, prepared well in advance?

Gawdy: I have no clue. Probably both. They already hit one of our transports, after all. I’ve got some uneasy feelings.

Sophie: Rotters have feelings?

Gawdy: Experience. If they wanted to destroy us, they would have done it long ago. A cruiser would’ve had to intervene. That earlier stunt was stupid and unnatural, outright idiotic unless it was planned in advance to look exactly that way.

Blitz: Captain! We’ve reached the destination!

Rotti: Copy that. We’re right behind you, give us a moment.

[ 5 minutes later ]

Rotti: Just ruins… What even was this place?

Blitz: According to the data, these are old industrial factory ruins connected to a sealed Grenum mine.

Sophie: You mean that metal all of you are made of?

Gawdy: Grenum is a very valuable and rare metal with many applications, not just for building us.

Blitz: I bet these installations still remember the Zovian boot.

Rotti: Focus, Blitz. We’re definitely being watched. Either they’re inside, armed and waiting for us, or there’s something we don’t know.
Alright, Rotters! Time to regroup!

Gawdy: It’s quiet. Too quiet.

Sophie: Like last time?

Gawdy: No. Definitely not. It’s different somehow. This calm and silence feel very artificial. These rocks, this sand…

Sophie: Artificial sand? Your processor must be overheating from the sun… but…

Gawdy: But it’s not even that hot here!
