After being a fan of Gamma's work for years, it's such a pleasure to feel like I'm showing my appreciation by not just giving back and, hopefully, helping create something that other fans can enjoy, but to show to Gamma, "We enjoy your work so much that it's inspired us, too. A lot."
Being asked by Zayxeno to help with the story was such a surprise and it's been my great pleasure to have such confidence put in me to collaborate with a fellow fan, let alone to keep doing so beyond this story.
Then, one day, I found an artist who did excellent work and knew that it was time to give back even more with an illustration for the story. Not only did Luca do a great job of illustrating this part of the story, but when I was describing the characters and what they were talking about to help visualize what was going on, Luca found their histories fascinating, and one thing I can always appreciate is when someone's genuinely interested in what they're creating, no matter the medium.
As for the story itself, what the illustration is depicting, and how you think this may/will go someday if/when Valerie and Dylan find out what really happened? Maybe you agree, maybe you don't, maybe some of both. I myself can see multiple possibilities and it's hard to settle on one that I like most or one that I find the most likely. But while things can't go back to how they were, even with all Mandy has stacked against her both from her own evil choices and her own forced hand, I still choose to believe that, somehow, however many years it takes or whatever has to be done to do it, things will work out for the better.
