Dragon Quest Alt: Prince Spritzfire of Moonbrooke
To all my Children… we have taken the kingdom of Moonbrooke, down to the last man! It is now ours to establish as a new base for Malroth!
The monsters cheer.
LORD HARGON! LORD HARGON!
Hargon grins, as a portly Archdemon and equally portly Spritzfire step behind him.
As for the foolish ruler and his progeny, they have seen the error of their ways. And Malroth has shown His favor and let them join us. Behold, King Archibald the Archdemon and his son, Prince Spritzfire!
Both monsters step forward and bow, as the crowd of monsters cheer. Hargon leaves, as the Spritzfire takes the stage. His speech is drowned out by cheers, so he shrugs and joins the cheering crowd of monsters.
So basically this is a fun little what-if for Dragon Quest II if the Princess and King of Moonbrooke had been turned into monsters by the curse of Hargon instead of the Princess just becoming a dog. The art for the Prince comes courtesy of
lightalbane and original artist ShegnaStar on BlueSky.
