Jetblade is from a curious "species" of humanoid robotic lifeforms called tizakz that possess individual sapience and intelligence, but yet are designed and built by a central processing unit that they simply title the "Authority", which serves as their government.
She uses the wings attached to her arms as blades when not actively flying, which are advanced enough to slice through most modern body armor.
