now dispite them being the mobile suit of the villian faction the zaku design has always been my favorite. Oddly I think my favorite version was from the SDF gundam series... loved the Zaku brothers
so I found a Zaku model and had to mod it a bit to fit my big fat head.
Sadly I won't be making a full zaku suit so I'm going with a color that matches my power klaw
I ddo plan to paint this I have a sew seams so smooth out as well, so the tubing is just taped in place for this image, I also have a red lens for the mono eye (planing a led backlight before blanking out the rest of the vizor with a see through black.

the principality of zeon had the advantage till the gundams were developed because they had no millitary mobile suits. but it does look like they did use captured zaku, also rebuilt zakus into adhoc models and after the one year war developed there own zaku models.... I didn't know that not a huge gundam fan. I thought the federation just had the GM series
I have some black mesh fabric used for fursuit eyes.
I plan to use that for the black sections of the helmet
I didn't know the federation used zakus I thought they were losing the war because they had no military mobile suits. but looks like they did use captured zakus, and later on they used upgraded zaku 2 models
