Either Farron is initiating a plan that actually helps our heroes or he just effectively burned all bridges with them. Either way, if Mason finds out that Farron betrayed Sesame and company for real, the rat anthro is going to find himself on the wrong side of the normally gentle man's wrath VERY soon.
Well, honestly, what were they expecting, making fun of the shady merchant ALL THE TIME?
Like, if you're making fun and belitteling a person you're expecting help from, expect to be double crossed some time in the future.
As much as I like our party of misfits, they honestly don't think too far ahead of the consequences of their actions.
Hopefuly Faron's playing a long con game, but even if he's genuinly betraying them, can't really blame him.

Couldn't agree more. I genuinely don't get how Farron's turn is being treated with such shock and vitriol when Sesame *just* got done telling him how noone in the group likes him, Kylar and Mason are better men than him, and he's nothing more than a dirty stray they've been burdened with. I do expect Farron's going to help them out in the end, but if he didn't that'd 100% be deserved given the treatment he's received.
He's going to have to have one hell of a redemption Arc or he's going to be murdered on sight once they get the chance.
Sure they were bagging on him quite a bit, but he kind of brought it upon himself. He's a weirdo merchant who doesn't explain Jack and he was always making snarky comments if not out right insulting them. Kind of hard to be friendly with a guy like that.
