Here we have the introduction study to the Redok, one of the other important original species in the T.A.C.'s original series Manke.Verse (In which their named was used as the first designed species for the project.)

One of the oldest species to be in space, their origins are even a mystery to them. At some poitn there was a huge exploration exodus from their home world, over a dozen colony floatillas latched together and spread out in a web to spread the species in all directions. Only two survived the passage of time and awoke. Even to the mordern day, even after a thousand or so years, they don't know what happened. Only the remnants of their codex and records as well as a blank spot where their homeworld was.

Larger built statures serve these taurs well, allowing them durability and resillience to a lot of things most biological creatures suffer from. They live respectfully long lives and have spent their reamergence with a huge emphasis on archiving and helping whichever other intelligent species budding into the galaxy. They created a huge network of trade amongst the galaxy, spreading several clans just as their intented original mission was. Having nothing but time to refine their trade logistics and mining operation technology, they are one of the key steps in most species' upbringing into the FTL Age.
