10 years ago I created this image, and it has been stolen more than anything else I have created. T-shirts, drums, woodcarvings, knife handles, you name it.

That doesn't sound pleasant. I remember sending you info about the trademark holder on the clothing brand or some such thing. Can you summarize the resolution in 25 words or less or did you get a settlement and aren't supposed to talk about it? Sounds like you got summarily dismissed with a promise not to use your art any more. LOL
Wow, and no offense to you lass since we got along well in emails in the past, how come your older works are so much better then your current works?
This seems so, detailed, I mean, its not going for full fledged "Need to stick a 100% animal head on a human body" but its so detailed
All your newest works seem so rushed, flat and sloppy =\
Please don't take offense

Considering what they come up with to try and obviate pirating of content like this (SOPA/PIPA), I'm glad they didn't put those measures in place, for even with them, the same piracy of your image would've occurred anyway.
Awesome stuff causes grabby paws, that's the plain cold facts. From gold to Gaga, the saying "Nothing sucks like success" gets proven again and again. There's always a downside to having something extremely popular.
It shows character to still go ahead and share it anyway - the damage is done, in one way of looking at it.

On a purely skill-centered level, this is a really impressive piece: Lovely technique, great anatomy, nice detail. You certainly have a lot of talent to be able to create a piece like this.
Have to say though that the topic does nothing for me: I think the over-the-top romantic rendering of some generic native-y attributes (not to mention that random Celtic cross) is just plain kitschy. But that's just me; obviously, the market has proved me wrong.

Ah, it's been so very long since I've seen this image.
About 12 or 13 years for me, back when I was in college.
I do have to apologize. On a social media site from long ago, I found this picture and used it as an avatar. I didn't ask, but I didn't know how to get in touch with anyone.
Even though I did link back to your FN profile in the captions.
It was just such a great picture. I guess I really connected with it on some level.
I'm glad I was able to find the picture again, as well as your profile on FA.

I remember seeing your image back during the Yerf days, and have been trying to find your gallery since. You helped inspire me as an artist back when I was in my teens in 2005.
I am sorry that you did not get the royalties you deserved, but in a way, you helped inspire many people to be better artists, environmentalists, and part of the furry community.
