Word had spread among my pack that I had slain Nature’s Demon. Everyone treated me like a hero, smiling and shouting “OMNI!” “Omni? I have a reward!” Solar said. “Let me guess, promotion?” I guessed. “That’s right! You are now a Beta!” Solar declared. “Wait… I’m already a Beta.” I said, puzzled. “Oh, right. That was part of the joke.” Solar responded. I laughed. That joke was actually funny.
But I knew the peace wouldn’t last long.

Right when I was about to thank him, Anubis yelled from the top of a tree. “HAHAHAHA! YOU CAN’T GET RID OF ME THAT EASILY! I ONLY FAKED MY DEATH TO GET YOU TO LEAVE! NOW, YOU ARE IN THE PERFECT SPOT! OMNI, COME UP TO THE TOP OF THE TREE NEAR YOUR DEN AND FACE ME NOW OR ELSE I WILL BURN DOWN THIS FOREST!!!!!” Anubis said.
A floating fireball appeared next to him and was slowly moving towards a tree to show he wasn’t messing around.
A spiraling staircase appeared around the tree near our den. And I climbed up.
