Pretty good setup for a continuation.
I'm wondering: where did this demon critter come from? Did someone summon it, or did it break through to the story world on its own?
The hunter's bravado (IMO) is a good setup for a fall from grace. His overconfidence could be used against him, or otherwise result in a costly mistake. Would make for an interesting redemption arc.
