Maria stared a moment frozen before she took a step back, quickly grabbing her cross with both hands and holding it in front of her as Shadow stepped toward her.
“Dear Chaos. Demon! Father you need to fight off this possession. Don’t let this demon destroy all your good work.” She stammered out with a trembling voice. Shadow smirked a bit before grabbing her hands in front of him and with a swift motion lifted them up and turned before pushing her back against the altar. A soft grunt coming from her as she landed back on the smooth top, her hands pinned above her head by Shadow’s arm.
“Please Father you have to fight him. You can’t let this demon take you over.” Maria pleaded as struggled to free herself.
“I’m afraid you’re mistaken here. This demon is the only one who’s even been. It’s the ‘good’ father that’s the fake.” Shadow commented, easily keeping her pinned down with little effort.
“I won’t listen to a demon’s lies. The father has done great good and vanquished many of your kind, all to help people.”
