"Foreign Rescue Case # 1294"

I'll admit, I love the landscape of Ireland. Dynamic, yet leaves you with a desire to think about it. It's almost uncomfortable how moist it is there sometimes though. I mean, at times I could have sworn the grass was so green, it looked blue!
Unfortunately, not ALL of Ireland is that pristine....
Normally, a call like this would have gone to a designated unit, but he was pre-occupied, and I was the closest one around, over in Liverpool at the time. Not like I would mind though, I mean, c'mon! Rescue a Damsel in Distress? Or do paperwork?
I think were pretty unanimous on that decision.
Following the radar signal though, I was already getting some pretty spooked out vibes in the area. I mean aside from the overcast weather, unusually rocky terrain, dead grass and deathly stench. When I got there, I saw about 6 other people in black druid hoods in a circle around this pit of peat bog/quicksand, chanting something or other, with this redhead about breast deep in there. I dunno what cults have with sacrificing women all the time, but from what I saw, it certainly wasn't with the lady's consent! And I've seen those "Bog Bodies" they dig up on National Geographic all the time. It's kind of a grim way to go, which kind of explains why I got a little angry at the situation.
I tried getting closer, but got spotted. One of them drew their sword immediately.
Turns out, shotgun beats sword. (LOL)
The others ran off without a fight, thank goodness. Only a week in England, and I've already killed someone in Ireland. Walking on thumbtacks for sure....
There's not much out on the Ireland peat plains. Luckily the ground was soft enough to anchor the butt of my shotgun on the shore. Took off my vest and looped one of the arm holes on the shotgun, and jumped in holding onto the other end.
I gotta confess, she was a babe, no question about that! Best first impression of a foreign country for sure! You rarely get green eyes that vivid without turning into glowsticks. What was odd though was how calm she was during the rescue. Not panicky or anything............. maybe she never saw an armadillo before? I dunno. I could have found out if only she spoke english! Her accent was goregeous, but I don't speak Gaelick or Celtic, or whatever it is. I'm gonna have to look into linguistics sometime....
By the way, Peat bogs are a beast to tackle! Imagine trying to wade through a mixture of frozen ice cream and peanut butter. It was pretty much regular dirt, but with suction. And it was cold. REALLY cold. I couldn't feel my toes once we got out. Maybe I'm not used to that cold, being from Arizona and all...
So eventually, we got out. I took a little bit of a breather after untying her. I couldn't understand why she was dressed like this though. It was like a green variation of Princess Leia's gold bikini. Come to think of it, EVERYTHING about her was comfortably odd.....
I mean, I know Ireland has lots of lore and what not. And I HAVE heard about this sort of "Lady of the Lake" thing locals keep talking about. aah well, that's what I get for not paying attention....
Anyway, once we got out, she... (What happens next? That's up to
superbabsy123 owner of the character.)

I got a lot of suggestions to draw Babsy's character in peril and what not. But it was seeing the "ireland" pic she did that caught my interest. It was unique! And considering her character was a red fox, it seemed culturally accurate too!

I'm working on doing more PRR cases. Suggestions are welcome too!
