Given my severe artblock for the past...year...I have to force myself to do quick sketches to stay on the ball. They tend to be rough, loose, and my main criteria...no references should be required.

And I violated that key rule and felt really stupid. Because I apparently don't know anything about snowboards, and I had to stop to look those up, uuuugh.

Everything else is just kind of random...the next few uploads usually have more of a theme in mind, but this was mostly nothing. I will say I drew Zach because I kind of miss him, he has no current role planned in the From Russia With Lust comic, and Nate is mostly taking up the role of hanging out with Jake (Zach is still dating Jake's cousin Allie).
The elephant lifeguard was a random though...elephants would actually make great lifeguards in my world, as long as you realize they don't have to float. It actually would be more ideal if they don't, they have built-in snorkels and can just power through waves UNDER them.
