Ayo! Here’s another worldbuilding piece

The deity in here is Anpu. Unlike the other deities who are generally passive even when they are harmed by humans or the consequences of our actions, Anpu started hunting down military/machines with a similar signature to the ones that wounded her. There are other deities who are known to be dangerous to humans, most of them are blinded by pollution like Ascellad. With Anpu it’s different, she got injured, but her senses aren’t impaired. She hunts them with intent and she is far from harmless even with modern equipment.

The magic system I use in this world is as simple as it is dangerous. The entirety of it basis on creatures of vis being able to summon matter of a parallel abstract dimension into the current world. This other dimension has no forms, so you can’t really summon objects, rather the summoned matter adapts to our world. Dragons use it to give them more lift by making the air around them denser, it can be used to soften blows/impacts or even as a light/energy source if enough matter is compacted in a tight enough space. In Anpu case she summons it to destroy the cells in the body, to cut up the vascular system in the lungs or destroy the synaptic connection in the brain and that’s pretty bad for a living organism.

Of course in the end everything she does will not have an impact. She might be able to down a couple immediate threats, but the real killer is the disease and pollution people will bring to Arcandria, homeland of the deities. And even she can not stop that.
