A sketch I did of Creature's head and face - Now In Color! The purpose here was to illustrate the "teardrop" shape around his eyes, that I have had difficulty describing. I also got to draw the eye in more detail, though the scanner made it look a little funny. I also got to show the nose spots better here! Most people use 3, I wanted to have 4-6 of them. I'm liking how it looks so far. All of his skin, minus the tongue, is black. It just appears grey, to stand out from the fur. Same as before, I only have a burgundy colored pencil, and no maroon, but it gets the point across.
I'm still not bold enough to attempt drawing the hair. Fur only helps show where his face patterns all line up.

This sketch came out quite well. I'm very glad that I have a head base to use as picture reference, because I am not this good without it!
