since the main thing that was highlighted to me during my interview was a general lack of networking basics (and especially subnetting) i decided to go all in the next few days preparing for a follow up interview that was scheduled during that very monday!

i learned a bunch about subnetting i had honestly never really grasped (or maybe forgotten lol)

it was quite fun and i ended up enjoying the actual act of subnetting! in figuring out all the aspects of a subnet (subnet ID, broadcast address, subnet mask, number of hosts, 1st usable address, last usable address, next subnet)

Out of all the knowledge i absorbed in that course, i think what i was able to keep in my mind the most was that wonderful cheat sheet taught in the videos i watched! it's been crazy userful to me ever since.

I'll notate it below as conmemoration for this studying i did :3
