Was sick with a rather persistent cold through new years and the month. Went to the doctor, got some medication, but somehow kept creeping back into my lungs. I did test negative for COVID thankfully.

However, every time I fall ill with anything related to my respiratory system, I am reminded of nearly dying from COVID back when. It was absolutely one of the few times I had genuinely considered that I might have been facing something life-threatening. (I am happy to report that I am indeed alive.)
