This is my first spin off in the Evercahanger world featuring our human protagonist Juno Calder-a human Coastal Infrastructure Maintenance Technician who gets too close to the truth of what Project: Everchanger is hiding.

Juno Calder in his early 30s. His employer is Regional Civil Works Authority (contracts with federal agencies, including Everchanger-adjacent cleanups).

Specializes in structural stabilization after “environmental events”. Docks. Seawalls. Sensor pylons. Submerged foundations.

Juno is the type of person that undersands the work more than people, never brags, and is a genuine good hard worker.


Rhea Calderon (no relation—Juno jokes about it once and never again) She's an anthropomorphic rhinoceros with her role being the Dock Logistics Supervisor / Heavy Lift Coordinator.

Rhea is: tall, broad, visibly powerful, warm-voiced, expressive, physically imposing but emotionally gentle.
She moves cargo like it’s nothing and people like they matter.

Rhea’s Personality: openly affectionate (hugs, shoulder squeezes), laughs easily, speaks directly but kindly, protective of her crew.
She has a habit of: bringing Juno extra food, checking if they’ve slept, standing nearby while they work “just in case”, she absolutely has a crush on Juno.
Juno absolutely does not clock it, Juno is used to being useful, not desired.

With the strange anamolies happening around the town Juno decides to make sure that no structure fails on his watch.
