This is my own rendition of "Boy With Apple," a painting originally created by artist Michael Taylor (michaeltaylor5863 on instagram) in oils for the Wes Anderson movie, The Grand Budapest Hotel.
My version is done in acrylics on a 12" x 18" canvas. I have a slideshow of the painting progress on my instagram.
I love Wes Anderson's movies and I love renaissance art, so it was a fun learning experience to paint this piece.
