Kio says right before I feel my belly scrape against said rock and send my hanging belly into a pendulum like wobble.
"Hang on there, big guy. I'll get you off it."
"Thanks, man" I burble out, nearly out of breath from just the few flaps of my tail that got me headed in this direction in the first place. Unfortunately my position doesn't give me great visibility for anything that's not directly level with my head and now it's gotten me ran aground once again. Is this what ships with deep drafts have to go through at the harbor? Bah, at least they have sonar for depth detection.
A few moments later, I feel him push against me and the rock stops poking me as I drift off to the side. Before I go too far though, Kio is once more behind me and gives me a shove forward to get back on the correct way.
That's like... the dozenth rock today? I lost count of the ones I ran into this week alone after escaping the slimes back on the beach. I'm gonna have to step up my plans or something...
