Since it's stated that he is more powerful than Serako, that likely means his chances of success in fighting his brother's attackers are high. The red and black color scheme on his gym clothes is an ominous foreshadowing that he will destroy all who oppose his family.

I think that's a good story motif. Having the younger brother fight in defense of his wounded older brother. You can tell they have a strong platonic love for each other this way, it reinforces that bond.

What I can say is that Wes seems to be wiser than Serako. He is the voice of reason for his brother, and in many ways serves as an example to follow.

Yes, and it would be nice if the character trait of wisdom could be made to have as high sex appeal as big, huge, swollen muscles do. Alas, one of those is just easier to look at from a distance than the other, lol.
