I've been there... It's been 5 years now. My mother passed away quickly. I won't go into detail, just...it still hurts. So I know where you're coming from and where you sit now.
They say "Time heals all wounds" *shakes head* "No. It doesn't. It just makes it easier for us to get numb to the pain. An after a while. It will stop hurting as much, you get emotionally, and mentally numb to that loss. However once in a while. You're gonna get a stabbing reminder of her passing. And the pain for a couple hours will feel fresh all over again...it fades though. An returns to that numbness you're used to.
Know, you're not alone, and as long as you're still here. So is she *taps your forehead, then your heart* "She lives in your memories. Some good, some bad but, she's there. Long as you try to remember"
