Part 4 of the origin of story of Notamine and his Pokémon:
One beautiful day, Notamine takes his Charmander buddy to the park for a walk. While enjoying the pleasant view of the nature that surrounds them, they notice a big wolf walking with his Bulbasaur.
Notamine: Horkeu? Is that you?
Horkeukamui: Hey there, Notamine, pleasant morning we're having, isn't it? Say, it's that a Charmander following you?
Notamine: Oh yes, this my new buddy, his name's Charlie, say hello to my neighbor buddy, Charlie!
He then lets Horkeu hold him, as he kisses him.
Horkeukamui: Ha ha ha! What a cute little fella, and what perfect time you brought him here, cause I just so happened I brought my dear Bulbasaur Oswald for a walk too, right, buddy?
Oswald: Bulbasaur!
Horkeukamui: *Chuckles* Isn't he wonderful?
Notamine: He sure is! Wanna hang out with us?
Horkeukamui: I would love to! Come, Oswald, go ahead and play with your new buddy!
And so, Charlie and Oswald became friends!
