Here is a ferret that knows she'll never be free. Who knows that she'll always be trapped, unable to have what she wants. She knows she's small, young, and insignificant, and no matter how happy she looks on the outside, there's a building sadness she bottles up inside. She knows there will always be something there to keep her down and out of the light.
