L: Did ya have parked around here or do we need to call a taxi?
The four were standing on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant.
J: We came here on foot. My place isn't that far away. Maybe a 15 minutes walk.
S: If you are tired we can call a taxi, or I can pick you up and carry you home. All three.
R: That's a kind offer, but wouldn't that be a bit much weight?
Jack had to fight his grin as Skye casually reached down for the bumper of a parked car and lifted it without hesitation at it's bumper. She blushed and looked aside while setting the car gently back down. Robert's and Linda's ears dropped.
R: I see, weight shouldn't be an issue, but Linda and I will still walk.
J: A nice late night stroll, isn't it nice?
L: The weather has cleared up pretty well.
All four gazed into the night sky.
S: Besides all those city lights it's really pretty with all those stars.
J: Let's head home. It has been a long day.
L: I'm looking forward to get some rest.
R: We need to be at the airport at 9:30am to be safe for check in.
J: I'll be awake around 6:30 to 7:00am anyways and Skye is going to emerge from the bedroom when the scent of coffee will linger through my place. Oh, and you will see a zombie awaking from her grave when she get's up.
R: Oh, so you are an evening mammal?
S: Yeah, pretty much.
J: It's like starting an old high mile beater car.
L: Huh?
S: Harhar... very funny. Jack means it's taking a few times to get that thing started, then when some cylinders start firing and it huffs and puffs into life it takes some time in idle untill all cylinders fire and the warning lights turn off.
J: But it's absolutely adorable.
S: Smooth save. Guys, I'm sorry to say, but I'll have to leave you and take a detour.
J: Gym?
S: Yeah, I need to get some exhaustion.
R: Have a nice evening
L: Sleep well later.
S: Thanks guys.
J: When mom and dad are in bed I'll try to drop by.
S: I look forward for it.
