These bubbles mainly feed on small animals and insects. However, they also see humans as fair game. Once in proximity, a bubble will attempt to sneak up on a human and grab them by springing out a part of their membrane, like a frog's tongue. However, despite their appearance, these bubbles are not sticky, the membrane will form rounded, flexible fingers to grip the human, and attempt to wrap around their appendage. Once the fingers fully wrap around the human's appendage, the membrane will merge and seal onto the human, forming an inflatable cuff and begin to spread over them in an attempt to envelop them. Escaping from one of these bubbles can be extremely difficult, and in some cases, borderline impossible, especially if a cuff is fully formed onto the target's body.
At this point, struggling against the bubble is useless, and attacking it with physical force can make things even worse. Any attempt to break the membrane could result in another body part being enveloped, speeding up the entrapment process. However, more than likely, you will be dealing with more than just one. These bubbles have a rudimentary intelligence, but will form a hive mind when more are nearby, which will lead to a person being flanked. Clingy Bubbles will even perform strategies and different maneuvers to capture a person.
Once they congregate upon a target, they will merge together, forming a thick membrane around their new occupant, becoming a singular bubble. As a result, the bubble will become incredibly taut and springy, like a pool toy. If a person is enveloped by just a single Cilngy Bubble, the membrane will remain soft and stretchy like a rubber balloon.
Once fully inside, the human will be completely fine as the bubbles can't digest them, but they will remain trapped and cannot escape without help from the outside.
