Stratus decided to start exploring this new house he had been blown into. As an australian shepherd, he didn't have any special movement abilities, no wings to fly with or anything, all he had were his nano-sized legs. At this size, it took a long time to walk anywhere, so if he wanted to cross over to the other side of the room without walking around the baseboards for ages, he needed to cut across the room. As Stratus walked through the middle of the room, he suddenly noticed the sound of footsteps, and the floor shook slightly. He looked up and saw a gray and green avali headed his way. Stratus had forgotten to check for people of this size - it seemed that this was a mixed size household, and he had only paid attention to the presence of the even bigger people around, not the smaller big people like this one.
Aaron casually walked around his house. Aaron is 95cm tall, about 500 times as tall as Stratus, or about 125 million times his mass and volume. Since he was small relative to the house, Aaron was used to looking up, and so he had zero chance of noticing Stratus - though even if he looked down, it was still extremely unlikely that he would see such a minuscule nano, who would hardly even register as a dot in his vision.
Stratus stared up at the avali, and watched the right paw raise into the air, then rapidly approach him. It seems he had accidentally gotten himself right in Aaron's path, perfectly in place for the foot-paw to land on him. There was no time to run away, that paw would descend on him in only a fraction of a second...
