the unique appearance of the HS[Heavy Support]-105 Geist gunship makes it one of the most recognizable Calatonan built and operated military craft, offering close and nimble support for ground forces while being capable of easily outrunning more attack choppers of the day. in fact, Lux's eldest child, canonically, piloted a Geist before pursuing a career in commercial aviation.
they're also the favorite craft of the Guard of Autumn[whose crest is shown], who were once an elite special ops unit before being disbanded after the Augustine massacre, a botched POW rescue mission. they now operate of their own volition, as a paramilitary organization, deep within the heart of 'enemy' territory.

I'd say that this is probably my favorite personal aircraft designs, but. my buddy did most of the work since all I was really able to give him was this rough sketch: http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/.....eistdraft1.jpg based off of some 'schematics' I made while I was of the lovely young age of 11, the a general idea[what would happen if an Apache, a Hind, and a Harrier spawned a child], and then what I could recall from my childhood- this was always the plane I imagined my characters flying into battle[though back then, they were slightly anthropomorphic and could communicate with their pilots. who were cats].

I don't think I could have asked for a more flawless interpretation of my hackbrained ideas. srsly. wing markings are intentionally inspired by the Valkyrie from the 40K universe- they just seemed fitting after my partner showed and purchased a model for me after I drew my initial sketch, due to the similarities. <333
