So what happens when an online career guru influences a manager at a remote motel in South Dakota to update his hiring practices to align with the modern job market in 2025, well an overly complicated, confusing, and absurdly drawn out hiring process ensues to find the perfect front desk clerk for the motel.

This is the cartoon project that I have been working on for the past few months based around some of the absurdities I encountered during a job search in the summer of 2025. Ollie the Australian Shepherd career guru has offered his business experience to Milton the manager to help him find a new front desk clerk for the night shift at the Fort Coyote Motor Inn Motel.
