Hmmm, I think I have a theory of what it's for. Let me just go through my checklist real quick.
Adorable; check
Fluffy: check
Gigantic: check

Shiny Claws; check
Conclusion: A gigantic fluffy Protogen looking to cause some mischief and perhaps intimidate a good amount of tinies along the way. Unless they get flustered first by that large grin.
