In the Ancient Forest, the Rathalos was once the only king. Until Zelevento tore through the sky—its muscles coiled like bedrock, its colossal form shimmering with molten radiance.

The Rathalos surged toward the intruder, only to be seized by the throat and crushed into the mountainside by the Zelevento's claw. As it gathered embers in its maw to retaliate, another claw clamped its jaws shut, smothering the blaze into suffocating smoke.

Zelevento leaned close, its throat pulsing with subdued light. It exhaled a taunting wisp of flame—gentle as candlefire—brushing the Rathalos' trembling eyelid.

"Remember this warmth."

The Rathalos lay defeated upon the ground, a faint scorch lingering upon its brow. As Zelevento spread its wings and dissolved into the blood‑hued dusk, an era of dominion ended with that scornful flicker of flame.

The forest settled into a new silence—a silence that kneels before a fiercer fire.
