This is the current character design sheet of my character “Reptile Cynrik” in his brand new battle armor! Just in case, you forgot how he looks like… or if you’d ever like to draw him.
This time, I have NOT used any human reference model or photo – this has all been drawn from the mind. That’s why it looks really like a comic poser this time, but I like it very much.
This here is his BATTLE ARMOR! The other clothing you know is his DRESS UNIFORM:

As you can see, he’d never go to battle with the dress… so, I had to come up with a cool and functional protective suit like this one. ^^
Changes in Reptile’s design:
1) The bluish thorns at the side of his jaw are more “spikey” this time. Also, they might grow in the future.
2) His feet have become more “avian” – the toes are not capable of grapping on to stuff, like a branch of a tree or solid groud. Also, he might be able to use his feet like primitive hands.

Usuall, when I've completed an artwork, I keep three sizes (to save them on my PC) and turn them into a JPG:
1) Original Size (close friends get these) 1:1
2) Large Size (usually 50% of the original)
3) Internet Size (usually 1280 pixles in height OR width)
So... but when doing an "internet size", I sometimes create a special "FA-size", which has limits of 1280x1280 pixles!!!!!!!
And that's annoying, but nevermind.
"DA-size" is usually a little bit larger.
In any case, I include a larger version for you guys to download HERE! ^_____^
You see... just like this artwork, there is always a larger version to save and enjoy.

I guess, that fundoshi IS a change in design, yes. But he would NEVER walk around with ONLY this underwear. Except for the old and traditional loincloth... which he still loves to wear in private!
But the fundoshi is just a part of the battle suit... I assume, the hard leather would just rub and annoy his skin all the time. ^^"

Hey, buddy... you were right! ^^ I have changed the artwork slightly. There was a shading at the upper right side of the fundoshi, which indicated some "shaft" bulging through from behind.
But I have erased that part and the cloth has a lesse bulge now - which is more correct!!
Furthermore, I have inlcuded a "REPTILE GENITAL SHEET", hehehe. ^^

I see it was already mentioned, but I guess the fundoshi is a new permanent thing. I never really actually knew that the other previous versions were all based on a human reference or photo. When I drew that first marker drawing of my character, I actually took a picture of myself in that exact pose and tried to copy translate that onto paper. So hopefully down the road I'll be able to go with all of it from the mind as opposed to human reference.
Well, some dragons are stronger than others. And they might not mind heavy armor. ^^

And the armor always depends on the situation. Even REPTILE has got a very heavy armor... but then, he'd be like a TANK and couldn't move swiftly.

Das stimmt, es kann ja sein, dass er eine Art "Bauchschutz" in Form einer Platte oder eines Gürtels mitnimmt, wenn es hart auf hart kommt. Aber Fakt ist, dass Echsenwesen SEHR harte Burschen sind. Eigentlich braucht er nur Schutz an GELENKEN, so sehe ich es. ^^
Klar... ein Speer im Bauch und ENDE... könnte man denken.

You took that fox's challenge and bulked up fast… as I knew a lizard like you could do… so very beautiful on you (now that we've established this is an acceptable adjective). It's thick, powerful, strong, bulky, but still you have the lithe, slithering, scaled body that speaks of the serpentine. You still seem just as flexible as a boa constrictor despite having bulk approaching that of a T-Rex (and keep on growing! Woof, I'm appreciating more and more what I see as you grow!).
Go out and do what all scaled creatures are created to do… strike fear into the warm-bloodeds as to what we are capable of! Fight, win, conquer!

I really appreciate your "beautiful" describtion. I really do! And I dig the "new" body design of REPTILE... though, it's not REALLY NEW! ^^" It's just... better balanced, yessssssssssssssss!
I'm glad you describe it so well: REPTILE'S body really IS "bulky" and strong - but also slim at some parts. Personally, I love when the waists are very slim. And as you can see his tummy is VERY flat. ^^ That still shows his reptilian "heritage", hehehe.
